My name is Charles M. Tolbert, and I am a visionary as well as mentor. Since the beginning of my life, I’ve been a day dreamer, envisioned myself in many places and doing things I thought wasn’t possible. Although I dreamed of getting a college education, getting married and having children, and making a certain amount of money in my lifetime, I just didn’t realize it was really possible until I did it! Like writing books, who ever knew it was in me until I dreamed, I was a public speaker, book author and a cook! Some mistake it as premonition, but I say it is a God gift to dream and vision something bigger than you! Like many, I went through many ups and downs, but it was my downs I’ve learned to get up to appreciate the setbacks that taught character. After accomplishing a college degree in business, receiving various certifications as a Chef, and a public speaker in big forums, I now can add to my life two books published and many more to come!
My name is Brandon DeGraffenreaidt and I’m a Financial Educator with WealthWave. We help families to grow, save and protect their funds to live a recession proof life. I’m a graduate of Chatham Central High, also attended North Carolina A&T State where I studied Business Administration. I’m inspired daily by my wife and 3 children. I enjoy coaching youth sports, attending college/pro games and listening to music.

This book is a short story that is based on the perception of a 7 year old boy and his understanding of why he is entering the foster care system and what that process was like for him. This book was written to shed light on the foster care experience for children and their perception of why and how they sometimes feel going through this process. You are not alone !
